If you made it this far into my website, odds are you are looking for a voice actor. Not just any voice though, but THE voice that will bring your project to life. That's where I come in.
My job is to take your specs, your scripts, your ideas, and build the character behind the voice. Putting years of amazing and diverse life experience into every script, I strive to bring your character to life for your audience. We both know it isn't just the voice, it's everything behind it that comes through the voice, and believe me, I have a whole lot of "everything" for you.
Animation, video games, commercials, e-learning, audiobooks, no matter the genre we'll work together to make your vision a reality.
Besides, if you look at that face you'll know why I worked so hard on my voice.
It's 2016. I am standing in a photo ops booth at a convention with Rob Paulsen, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille and Jess Harnell. It wasn't the first time I had seen them, and it wouldn't be the last. Jess turns around, looks at Rob, and out of nowhere he says "Hey... you've got some great pipes! Hey Rob, doesn't this guy have a great voice?!". Rob smiles and agrees. "Yeah, he does".
Flashback to anywhere in my life where someone was telling me I had a great voice. "Do you work in radio?" they would ask. I would smile and tell them that I dabbled in it a bit but never committed. "You should be in radio" they would say. I'd agree, but never pursued it. It was always in the back of my mind and before the convention, I had been taking it more and more seriously, but not committing. Then I heard that statement.
The statement above was the Universe kicking me in the butt, telling me one last time to get busy. This time I listened. I researched voice over and voice acting. I studied. I found a coach. I took many, many classes, went to conferences, built a studio. I took it seriously.
Now I have put the "acting" behind the voice, and here we are.
Thank you Jess, Rob, and the Universe.
I finally listened.

Personal Information
My passion for voice acting began at a very young age. As a tiny tot in Lake Stevens I grew up with an AM radio, which I listened to day and night, every day. Mariners games, Seahawk games, Wayne Cody's "Sportsline", CBS Radio Mystery Hour, classic radio shows on KVI 570 AM, and my all time favorite - Paul Harvey. I started DJing dances in high school, did a couple shows on Armed Forces Radio in Japan, spent time on the air at Fairfax Cable Access in Virginia, and puttered around doing small projects for companies I worked for. This went on until, one day, I decided to take it seriously. That is when the work began. See question #2. That is everything I did to get here.
Research. Learn. Study. Practice. Take Classes. Practice some more. Go to conferences. Network. Keep practicing. It takes time, like anything you want to be good at. Here are some references for you to start with:
It's called acting. I actually have the personality of a wet mop.
